On December 1, 2023, local time, the Chinese Embassy in Ecuador held the award ceremony for the 2023 Chinese Ambassador Scholarship.
Six students from the Confucius Classroom of Siyuan Academia de Lengua China and six elementary school students from its affiliated teaching site, Liceo Matovelle School, were awarded first, second, and third-class scholarships respectively.
