In April 2025, the affiliated teaching sites of the Confucius Classroom at Siyuan Academia de Lengua China in Ecuador - Liceo Matovelle, Volcán Cotopaxi, Mirador Copper Mine Rainforest Campus and the Asian American School in Cuenca, celebrated the International Chinese Language Day under the theme of "Chinese: A Gift Across Time and Space".

This activity was centered on students to cross the language barriers and promote the cultural exchange through "experiential learning" such as the guzheng and guqin, calligraphy, paper-cutting, and origami.
