On November 12, Vice-Chancellor Robert Greenberg of the University of Newcastle, Australia, and his delegation visited SISU.

The two universities held the first joint management committee meeting for the Sino-Aus joint program in 2024, where they finalized the list of new joint management committee members, discussed plans for Australian faculty to teach at SISU, and the schedule for signing new agreements.

Vice-Chancellor Robert Greenberg and his delegation also attended the opening ceremony for the 2024 Sino-Aus joint program.

At the opening ceremony, President Dong Hongchuan and Vice-Chancellor Robert Greenberg presented admission letters from the University of Newcastle to the representatives of the 2024 freshmen.
